Avhievement Testing will be May 20 & 21

Achievement tests will be given on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21.  First grade through eleventh grade will be testing.  Please make sure your child gets a good night's rest, eats a healthy breakfast and arrives to school on time for the testing. 

We strongly encourage you to avoid absences.

We need all of the Taste of Summersville Tickets returned to the main office.  Please be sure to turn in the money and ticket stub.  Any tickets not returned are the responsibility of the family they were given to.  They are numbered and it is very important that we keep track of them.  Thank you for your help!  The Taste of Summersville is an amazing event in our community, and your help is vital to its success.

Where: New Life Christian Academy New Gym

Admission: $10  for ages 12 Years and Up

          $5-  fro ages 3 - 12 Years

Progress Reports will Go Home this Friday

                                                 

Progress Reports will go home on Friday, May 2nd. 

Please watch for your child's progress report.

NLCA Sports Banquet is Friday, April 25 at 6:00 PM

Please note the following food assignments for the Banquet.  Make sure that the dish you provide is enough for 12 people.

 Elementary Basketball – vegetable dishes (potatoes, corn, green beans, broccoli, baked beans, etc.)

 

Middle School Boys’ Basketball & Archery – salads/fruit dishes (pasta salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, lettuce salad and dressing, jello salad, fruit salad, etc.)

Varsity Girls’ Basketball – desserts (cakes, pies, brownies, cookies, etc.)

Varsity Girls’ Volleyball, Varsity Boys’ Basketball & Ski Club – meat dishes (chicken, ham, turkey, beef, pork, meatloaf, barbecue, spaghetti, lasagna, etc.)

Plates, napkins, cups, silverware, drinks and rolls will be provided by the Athletic Department.

The Taste of Summersville is May 8th

This week students will be receiving tickets to sell for the Taste of Summersville.  They are numbered tickets and we ask that each family sell a minimum of five of them.  If you are unable to sell them, you need to return them to the office.  You will be responsible for the tickets that are assigned to you.  Thank you for helping to make the annual "Taste" a success!

Lifetouch Picture Packets are due back FRIDAY, APRIL 4

                                           

Just a reminder....Your picture packets are due back to school TOMORROW (April 4).  Follow the directions included in the packet for purchasing.  Only return pictures you do not want, and keep the ones you are purchasing.

You are not obligated to buy any pictures...but you must return them if you are not purchasing them.

There Will Be No Public Bus on Thursday, April 3rd

The Public Bus will not run on April 3rd.  New Life Christian Academy will be having a regular school day, but if you ride the public bus you will need alternate transportation to and from school.
