College Colors Day is September 2

                

Just for fun wear your favorite College Colors tomorrow (Friday, September 2).  College football opens up this Saturday!  Let's gooooo.....Mountaineers!!

Grandparents' Day is September 30

                            



We will be celebrating Grandparents' Day on September 30 at 9:00 AM in the New Gym.   Classes will do presentations, and then grandparents or student guests are welcome to join us for light refreshments before you take your children home for the day!  There will be no Lion's Den, and school vans will leave at noon.  If your child rides the public bus, you will need to make alternate plans for transportation, as we will dismiss prior to the public school.   Thank you for your cooperation.  We look forward to seeing you!

School Literature Fair is October 10

NLCA School Literature Fair

• ·         Monday, October 10, 2016
• ·         Set up between 7:30-8:15 AM in Old Gym
• ·         Judging begins at 8:45
• ·         Students will view projects at 1:30
• ·         Parents and Visitors may view projects at 2:00
• ·         Tear Down at 2:30 (public bus students will have time to tear down their project before the bus runs)
• ·         All projects must go home by 2:50

Students that are chosen for the County Literature Fair will be notified on Tuesday, October 11.  All first place winners will not attend the county fair.  Representatives are chosen by the highest scores.

School Picture Day is Friday, August 26

                                  

School Pictures will be taken on Friday, August 26.  We will send the proofs home when we receive them.

The City of Summersville is hosting a Celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the Summersville Dam and our facility is necessary to help accommodate the celebration.

Awards Day

Elementary Student Awards

Awards Day is on Wednesday, May 25.  We will present awards in the New Gym and will begin around 8:15 AM.  Report cards will be given out after the award's assembly.

There is not a secondary awards assembly.  Their honor roll certificates will be attached to their report cards.
