Easter Break

 

School will release on Thursday, April 1 at 12:30 PM.

Easter Break will begin on Good Friday,

 and we will return to school on Monday, 12.

"Community" Book Reading Opportunity

 

Our school began reading The Tale of Desperaux today.  School (Community) book reading provides many learning opportunities for our students, and we would love for you to join us.  We will be reading and discussing the book in various classes until spring break.

Virtual Spelling Bee

Congratulations, Madeline Feinstein and Grace Gunnoe!  Madeline won the NLCA School Spelling Bee, and Grace was the second place winner.  Both girls will represent the school at the County Bee.

Remote Learning Tips

• Continue to check the classroom blog daily for homework and information
• Look at "UPDATES" on Schoology every day
• Make a schedule for Zoom times and post it where you work (Secondary students have different schedules for "Snow Days" and Remote Days.  Make yourself familiar with the schedules.)
• Come to class with supplies (paper, pencil, books)
• Communicate and participate during class
• Remember "Attendance Counts" ... Show up!

Week of January 25-29

Since Nicholas County was "orange" on the map on Saturday, all students will report to school on Monday for in-person instruction.  For the safety of everyone, all students, Pre-K through twelfth grade,  must wear a face covering during school at all times.
