Changes to the School Calendar

                                 

Please not the following change in our 2014-2015 School Calendar:

Our Christmas Break will begin at the end of the school day on Friday, December 19.  School will not be in session on Monday, December 22.

The remainder of the school year will depend upon the amount of snow days we have this winter.  If we exceed 12 snow days, our Spring Break will be shortened to April 3 - 8.  We will return to school on Thursday, April 9th.  However, we will keep you well informed of any changes we must make to the schedule.

Don't miss out on the gift we have provided for you and your family to enjoy.  Right Now Media is the "Netflix of Bible study videos".  All you have to do to take advantage of this free offer is send your email address to jeades@nlca.info, and he will send you the invitation to join.  From there, you will create your own personal login information. 

The deadline to send your email address to Mr. Eades is Monday, December 15.  Use "Right Now Media" in the subject line.  You will  NOT receive spam, or unsolicited emails from them for joining.

Nicholas County Childhood Hunger Prevention Food Donations

             We will be collecting Juice Boxes, Granola Bars, & Gummy Snacks during the month of December.  If you are able to help with this mission, you may send in any of the above items all month!  Thank you for your help! 

  Tuesday, December 9 is DEAR DAY!  It will be a theme day for students and teachers.  The theme is "Crazy Christmas Attire".  Mrs. Cole is offering prizes for some participants.  Enjoy your Christmas Outfit and bring your

Favorite Book.

The Annual Christmas Play will be Held this Week!

 

Thursday, December 4th

10:00 AM   &   7:00 PM

 

Students will need to be here at 6:30 for the evening performance.  Please take them to their classroom.  Their costumes will be there (unless they are in a drama, those costumes are in the new gym locker room).  Teachers will escort the children to the gym for the performance!

 

 

Thanksgiving Lunch is Wednesday, Novemer 19

        

We are having lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving. If you would like to eat with your child on November 19, please note the following lunch schedule:

Pre K – 2^nd Grade               10:45 – 11:30

3^rd – 6^th Grade                   11:30 – 12:15

Secondary                         12:30 – 1:15

If you have more than one child with different lunch schedules, feel free to send a different family member/friend to eat with them.  The cost of lunches for non-students is $4, and must be paid in advance.   Return the RSVP to your child’s teacher, with the money, before November 12.
