"See You at The Pole" will take the place of chapel tomorrrow!

We will meet at the flag pole on Wednesday, September 27 at 8:10 in the place of chapel.  Everyone is welcome to join us!

For over 25 years, See You at the Pole has been about one simple act—prayer. SYATP is still about students uniting themselves in prayer before God interceding for their generation.

There are two opportunities to unite in prayer with your friends:
  • DAY: SEE YOU AT THE POLE day is on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 a.m. local time. All around the globe, in every time zone, students will be gathering at their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. SEE YOU AT THE POLE is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for your generation.
  • WEEK: The GLOBAL WEEK OF STUDENT PRAYER (Sunday, September 24 through Saturday, September 30) encourages students to find new and unique ways, places, and times to pray throughout the week. Whether you attend PUBLIC SCHOOL, PRIVATE SCHOOL, or HOME SCHOOL, gather your friends wherever and whenever and pray! The GLOBAL WEEK OF STUDENT PRAYER is dedicated to prayer and launching your on-campus Bible clubs, prayer strategies, and student ministries.

Golden Ticket Winner!

Congratulations to Emily Morriston in Kindergarten!
She was the Golden Ticket Winner and will receive $100!

Thank you to EVERYONE who is helping our school earn money and who is helping our teachers earn free classroom supplies by supporting the awesome "SchoolStore" fundraiser.  If you have not registered to participate in the fundraising event, please take a moment to do so.  Every child should have received a packet explaining how it works.  It is much like the Boxtop Fundraiser we do but is used with internet shopping!

We are excited to announce that currently we have nearly $500 in earnings and over $1900 has been donated to various classrooms!  We are blessed and thankful!

Keep up the good work in getting our name out to your family and friends.  Remember to use "SchoolStore" to internet shop.  It only takes a moment and NLCA earns cash.

Thursday, September 21 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
There is a sign up sheet outside your child's
classroom for the conferences.

We will run the conference much like the open house.  We ask that you wait patiently as other families visit privately in the classroom with your child’s teacher.  We will keep each meeting under 15 minutes, and everyone will have the opportunity for a conference.  If you feel you need more time, please schedule this with your child’s teacher.  You are welcome to wait in the cafeteria if you need a seat.  Secondary students’ parents need to contact the main office to sign up for the conference.

For Your Information

Today we kicked off two exciting events for NLCA.  We began our first mission project of the school year and initiated the school wide fundraiser "School Store".

  • Please look for the "School Store" information packet to come home today!  This is a program much like the Box Top fundraiser.  The difference in the two is that the  "School Store" is for online shopping.
  • Our school ID is:  113170

Join us in helping the Rotary Club gather school supplies for victims of the recent hurricanes.  We will collect supplies until October 6.
