Transportation Policy

Transportation Policy Update
For the safety of our students and update compliance with current safety regulations, the below transportation policy is now in effect as of 11-27-2015.

NLCA strives to provide the most safe and efficient means of transportation for all our students.  Should your child need to use school transportation at any time, whether it is daily, or for the occasional field trip, you will need to adhere to these policies and procedures.

Parents who have children that are required by law to use either a booster seat or car seat must provide these seats if their child is being transported by NLCA transportation.   It is highly recommended that you provide the same style seat that you use in your own vehicle.  The seat will be used in school vans with the seat belts that were factory installed in the vehicles.  If your child rides the van regularly, please leave your booster/car seat on the van at all times.  If they will only use this mode of transportation occasionally, you will need to bring the seat with your child at the beginning of the school day and pick it up at dismissal.

*Please make sure you have signed and returned the policy that was sent home with your child.  If your child requires a booster or car seat, you must sign and return the acknowledgement.
