NLCA TOURNAMENT

The NLCA Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams will be competing in our annual tournament this Friday and Saturday! The games will kick off on Friday at noon with our Varsity Boys playing, followed by the Varsity Girls' game at 1:30. There will be more games played that afternoon and evening, and the games will continue on Saturday. The students will also be attending a game during school on Friday. Come support the Lions as they finish their season!

PTF Meeting and Book Fair

We are having a PTF meeting right after school on Tuesday, 2/12, in the sixth grade room.

Next week is our Book Fair! It will be open every day, and the times and extended hours will be posted later.

Homecoming Activities This Week

We have several activities going on throughout this week for Homecoming!
 
  • Classroom Game Competitions on Wednesday @ 8:45 in the New Gym
  • Our Pep Rally will be on Friday morning @ 9:30 AM.
  • Sports Pictures (All Basketball Players and Twirlers) and Homecoming Court Pictures will be on Friday @ noon.
  • Our Homecoming Games are on Friday Evening. The crowning will take place prior to the girl's game. The times are listed on the right. Please come out to support our teams and the homecoming court!

Homecoming Week February 4 -8

Theme Days
Monday- Red, White & Blue Day
Tuesday- Nerd Day
Wednesday- Hippie Day
Thursday- Cartoon Day
Friday- School Spirit Day

The Penny War will begin on Monday and run until Friday at 8:30 AM.  Each penny brought in is worth one point.  Other coins and dollars will deduct points from the containers they are counted in (Pennies raise your score and other money deducts points from your opponents!)  If you wrap your pennies, you will receive 20 extra points per roll!!!  The winning class of the Penny War will get a pizza party lunch!
