There Will Be No Chapel on Thursday, April 3

The secondary students will be leaving for Soul Survivor on Thursday, so there will be No Chapel.  Elementary students will have Bible Class instead.

Final Contest for the Year!

We are collecting Box Tops for the final time this year. 

This tally will go on next year's total, but we will be rewarding a winning class in May! The reward for the classroom with the biggest collection will be a trip to Fat Eddies for ice cream with a little time on the playground at the Summersville Dam! 

The contest will end on May 16th.  Start snipping and bring them in!

Taste of Summersvile

 

The annual Taste of Summersville will be held on Thursday, May 8 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the New Gym.  We are currently working on contacting restaurants, vendors and businesses for donations.  If you would like to help with the event, please contact Mrs. Lucky. 

A list of Silent Auction Baskets has made its way to your child's classroom. We are asking for donations to help fill them.  We are also in need of items to auction off, as well. 

New Life Christian Academy has been host to this event for over 20 years.  By working together, we can make this "Taste" the best ever!

Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration is Monday, March 24 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  You do not need an appointment.  Please bring your child's shot records and birth certificate.  Call 872-1148 if you have any questions. 

March is Mission Month in Chapel

Each Thursday in March we will be celebrating Mission Month during Chapel.  This week we will have a guest speaker, James Kato, from Uganda.  Everyone is welcome to attend! We begin at 8:20 AM and end at 9:00 AM. 

We do not usually take up an offering during chapel, but we are collecting one during Mission Month.  The offering we collect is going to support the Abide House in Nicaragua.

The Third Nine Weeks will end on Friday, March 21

 Report Cards will go home by Monday, March 24th!

Alumni Volleyball and Basketball Game to be held on March 14 at 6:00 PM

                                             

 

We will be having an Alumni Volleyball and Basketball game on Friday, March 14 beginning at 6:00 PM.  This is a fundraising event for our annual Soul Survivor Retreat and Secondary Field Trip.  We will be selling concessions at the game.  Come out and enjoy an evening of fun! Admission is by donation only.

March 12 is Spring Pictue Day

Spring Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, March 12th.  This will include:

• individual portraits
• all sports teams
• choir
• ribbon
• drama
• archery
• ski club

*please bring your uniforms, gear and any accessory you may need for each club you are a member of

NLCA is Hosting a Basketball Tournament this Weekend!

NLCA will host several basketball teams this weekend for a tournament.  The games will begin at 3:00 on Friday, and will continue through Saturday evening.  Come out and support the Lions!

*The drama team will perform around 4:30 on Friday

Spring Pictures Have Been Rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12th. 
This picture day will include student individuals, as well as the following : basketball teams, the archery team, ski club, choir, drama, & ribbon.  Please bring your uniforms and any props you will need for the pictures (bow, snow board, etc...).
