A New Mission to Support...

We are collecting items to help fill weekend snack packs for the Nicholas County Childhood Hunger Prevention project.  BJ and Angela Trescott have begun a work for the Lord and we are excited to be contributing to their mission--right here at home!  If you would like to send in items to help support this mission, you will find a list of guidelines below. 

Thursday, November 6th, we will be helping pack some bags during chapel.  We will be collecting food throughout the remainder of the school year.  Prayer and support is a necessary ingredient for the Trescott's and their mission.  Thank you for joining us in supporting them!

October 22 is a SECONDARY ISE Day

Wednesday, October 22 is a Secondary ISE day.  Some of our staff members will be attending trainings for the Carnegie Learning math program which is only implemented on the secondary level.

Elementary classes (Pre-K through 6^th Grade) will be held on a normal schedule, with normal transportation and after school care.   Secondary teachers will not be in their classrooms, therefore secondary classes will not be in session.

  Tuesday, October 14 is Dear Day!  It is also a Theme Day.  Choose your favorite character from a book and dress up as that character. 

Bring the book to read during DEAR time!

There is NO Archery this week.  We will be having Bible School during that time. 

Fever Free for 24 Hours

 

Please make sure your child is Fever Free for 24 Hours before they return to school after being sick.   Here are a few helpful tips to keep from spreading germs and to protect yourself:

• Wash Your Hands
• Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow/arm when coughing, sneezing, etc...
• Rest--Take Care of Yourself!

Bible School --October 14-17

 

The Secondary Students will host the Elementary Students for a three day Bible School that will focus on three Women of the Word.  The Bible School will take the place of Bible Class on October 14-16.  We will end with chapel on Friday, the 17th.       We are looking forward to a wonderful time of service,        learning, and worship. 

 

*Don't forget...Chapel will be on Friday the week of October 17

The First Nine Weeks Ends on Friday, October 10

                                                        
The first nine weeks will end this Friday.  Students will receive their report cards on Tuesday, October 14th.
