Congratulations, Lexey Cagg!

Alexeyev Cagg, fifth grade student, entered the Smart529 When I Grow Up essay contest that is open to all West Virginia children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Fifteen regional winners were chosen, and Alexeyev's essay on becoming an astronaut when she grows up won!  She was awarded $500 in a SMART529 account, and NLCA won $500, as well.   She has been entered into the regional contest, and she could win up to $4,500 more.  

Congratulations to Lexey! We are so proud of your work!

Just a reminder...Parent Teacher Conferences are this evening from 5-7 PM

If you have not scheduled an appointment, please contact your child's teacher, or call the main office.  

All secondary meetings will be held in the teacher's lounge in the Elementary Building.

Soul Survivor 2018

When: April 23-25

Where: Camp Cowen, WV

Time: Leave school at 3:00 on Monday, April 23

Return to school at 10:00 on Wednesday, April 25

The $50 fee for Soul Survivor will cover all lodging, meals, books & materials, transportation, tee shirts and tribal attire (bandana, etc…).  The fee is due on April 18, 2018.

Items you will need to take to Soul Survivor:

·         Bible

·         Paper & Pen

·         Sheets/Bedding, Towels

·         Clothes that you can get wet/muddy

·         Extra Shoes

·         Toiletries

·         Camp tee shirt- to be worn on Tuesday

Items to Leave in Common Area

·         1- 12 pack of drinks (water or soda)

·         1 package of snacks (chips, cookies, granola bars, fruit, etc…)
